How to Post Your Rental Requirements (5 minutes)

    From your dashboard, find the big green button 'Post Requirement'. Click it.

    Enter Your Location

    Add your postcode or city, and use the radius slider to show how far you'll travel. Example: 'SW1A 1AA' with '2 km radius'.

    Set Your Budget

    Pick a minimum and maximum monthly rent. Example: '£800–1,200 per month'.

    Property Details

    Choose bedrooms, bathrooms, and property type (Flat, House, Room, Studio). Example: '2 bed, 1 bath flat'.

    What Matters to You

    Tick the things that matter — garden, parking, pet-friendly, furnished, modern kitchen, near transport. The more you tick, the better your matches.

    Tell Landlords About You

    A short description helps. Example: 'Professional, quiet, non-smoking, happy to sign a 12-month lease.'

What Are Tokens? (And Do You Need Them?)

The short answer: you probably don't need tokens. Most landlords and agents message you for free — they see your requirement and contact you directly.

You'd only use a token if you spot an agent you want to contact yourself, before they reach out. 1 token = £0.80 to reveal one agent's contact details.

  • • 50 tokens for £40 (£0.80 each)
  • • 100 tokens for £75 (£0.75 each)
  • • 250 tokens for £175 (£0.70 each) — best value

Honestly? Most renters never buy tokens. You're the one in control.

Your Rights Under England's Renters' Rights Act 2026

From May 1st, 2026, renters in England have new powers. Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland have separate rules. Here's what changed in England:

1. No more 'no fault' evictions

Your landlord can't evict you without a reason. You have stronger protection.

2. Better rent increase rules

Landlords can only raise rent once per year, with at least 2 months' notice, and increases must be reasonable.

3. More negotiating power

Tuesday to Thursday afternoons tend to get more responses.

Can I negotiate after getting an offer?

Absolutely — that's the whole point. Landlords are reaching out to you, so you have the negotiating power.
